![]() Heck, when your ships are shooting guns at enemy fighters, can they hit friendly fighters? I don't know how the mechanics are with the guns. When you miss, can the gunfire hit something behind the target? Like, if you have a ship about to die, can you actually take another ship to block guns from hitting it or do they just hit it anyway? Which leads to another question. There's still lots of things i don't know how they work. BUT now with not being able to increase fleet sizes easily by fighting, i seem to need the RP just so i can increase my fleet sizes. I didn't realize that it was eating away at my ability to unlock blueprints. I did also learn the hard way about ranking up officers with RP. Two with the capacity for 8,000, one at 6,000 and two at 4,000. I have two fleets at the 8,000 cap then new fleets cant get experience because they are ar 4,000 and the cylons are running 6,000+. I didn't know about the fleet size scaling. Then later said like "now you built nukes, and so shall we". I remember the cylon ai person telling me that they build because the humans build. The vast majority of cases you'll want to be firing at full salvo size if your munition fires any more than 1 munition per salvo.ĮDIT: I've got a full ship/squadron/munitions guide in the Steam Guides section for Deadlock which you can check out if you want to reference munition stocks, ship loadouts, etc. if you push up to 125% salvo size you'll fire 5 missiles in the salvo rather than 4, burning through your munitions faster. Standard Colonial guided missile salvo size is 4 missiles with 20 missiles in a stack. You'll drain your stock faster if you fire more missiles per salvo. Regarding increased posture / salvo size: Yes. Nukes just so happen to make satisfying explosions whilst you rake in your wins against the AI. Fleet Admiral requires a little bit of thinking about how you build your fleets, but it's still quite doable by most with some patience and the ability to learn from mistakes. Once you get good enough at the game you can win with most fleet compositions and loadouts up to Admiral difficulty.

The colors can be relaxing or a little cheesy, depending on your tastes. Lights: Most ultrasonic diffusers light up in some fashion or another, often in a rainbow of colors.Intermittent diffusing: It’s nice when there’s an option for the diffuser to mist or spray oil for a set amount of time and then rest, diffusing intermittently this pattern keeps the diffuser going longer on a single fill.(You should empty and wipe out your diffuser every few days if you’re not using up all the water.) It’s a nice feature but not necessary. This function allows you to run the diffuser several times without refilling the water. Timer: Many medium and large diffusers have a timer that will turn off the diffuser after one or a few hours. This can be annoying to clean but it’s not a dealbreaker, especially if your diffuser is going to be more of a set piece on a mantel for occasional mood-setting than a product in constant use. Fancier diffusers made from materials other than plastic often have two layers of lids-one functional and one decorative. Lids: The easiest to use (and clean) diffusers have just one lid.Generally, better materials tend to appear on pricier, smaller models. Most people will opt for the common semitranslucent white plastic options, but you can find oil diffusers in other materials, like ceramic, porcelain, fake wood, or even real wood. Material: This is a displayed object, so aesthetics matter. We’ve observed that impacts how effective the diffuser will be overall and how interesting it will be to look at (a piddly stream of mist isn’t very exciting). ![]() Power: Regardless of tank size, we wanted to see a strong stream of mist.A larger tank tends to work a bit better for a larger space. Generally, larger tanks mean thicker mist and longer runtimes without needing refills. Ultrasonic diffuser tank sizes range from 100 to 500 milliliters the best diffusers balance the benefits of a bigger size with a small footprint. She braved the cold weather and rode as much as she could – around the estate, to school, at the skateboard park, the seaside promenade, and anywhere else she and her sister could persuade mum and dad to go! Her first impression was that it went a lot faster than her old bike! Because it’s a single speed bike there are no gears to confuse matters, so she was able to master riding it very quickly.ĭespite the terrible winter, we had this year, she was really keen to get out cycling. She liked the design and the colour scheme (more on that later) and was keen to go out on it immediately. She’s been riding a much heavier “Cherry Blossom” girls bike, and had asked for a new “grown up” bike. The Squish was presented to 6 year old Katherine to review, just before Christmas 2017. Our ‘first impressions of the Squish 18’ article highlighted that we really liked the bike with its funky paintwork and the level of thought that has been put into the design, but now it was time to hand it over to our tester to put it through its paces. However, if other manufacturers follow suit and bring out 18″ wheel bikes, then the tyre manufacturers will likely increase the level of their offering. The one concern we have is whether replacement tyre choice at this size will be limited. The Tandem Group have been producing these own brand “Cadence” tyres since 2013 when they developed the Dawes Academy range, so they’re a tyre designed for a higher spec bike, which is a bonus. On the tyre front, the Squish 18 comes supplied with a set of knobblies that are designed for use on road or trail. The hubs spin freely enough and all in all, look to be a nice set of factory built wheels for a kids bike. However, they come with an alloy rim with cnc machined side walls for a smooth braking surface and a black finish on the spokes to top things off. The 18″ wheels are a funny thing to see on account of their rarity. Both calipers and levers are from Tektro, with the levers being adjustable for reach to take account of differences in kids’ hand sizes. The brakes on the Squish 18 kids bike are supplied by Tektro and feature a standard v-brake system as featured on the majority of kids bikes of this type. The chainset is a child specific item that comes with crank arms that are 114mm long so designed for the shorter legs of younger children. The Squish 18 has been designed to keep things nice and simple, utilising a single speed system that has a 16 tooth sprocket on the back wheel and a 30 tooth chainring at the front. the bottom bracket area and at the welded joints between tubes. More expensive to produce than alternatives, the tubes are thicker at points where strength is needed, e.g. ![]() Squish have put a lot of thought into the design of their frame, having opted to use a triple butted frameset. Our ‘first impressions of the Squish 18 kids bike’ review gives a lot more detail, but here’s a quick recap to get you started. This is a wheel size that tends to be dominated by heavy, steel framed, cheap bikes, so it’s very unusual to see a higher quality bike in this size, which weighs in at just 6.9 kg.Īt £289.99 (price when we got sent the bike in 2017 was £239.99) it’s significantly more expensive than the other heavier and less well specified 18″ wheel bikes on the market, but the Squish range is in the middle to lower half of the price range when compared with other lightweight bikes on a ‘like for like’ wheel size.Ī quick recap on the components on the Squish 18 The Squish 18 kids bike has a 9.5″ frame, which is designed for children with a minimum inside leg of 50cm, which is roughly for ages 5 years and older. This model, the Squish 18, is a single speed bike designed for kids that are not quite ready to make the jump from a single speed 16″ wheel straight to a ‘geared’ 20″ wheel bike. The Squish brand was launched in 2017, as a new range of lightweight kids bikes at a lower price point than some of the more mature brands. Then it got sent out to our eager reviewer Katherine to put the bike through its paces, and this is the follow up article that covers how the Squish 18 got on during the review period. It was the first 18″ wheeled bike to come through the doors at Cycle Sprog, so as you can imagine we were pretty excited to be able to bring you this Squish 18 review!Īt the time we received the bike, we did a detailed first impressions review of the Squish 18, discussing its components and build to give a feel of how it’s put together and whether it represents good value for money. At the tail end of 2017 we received a Squish 18 kids bike to review from Tandem Group Cycles in Birmingham, who are makers of other well known bike brands as Dawes and Claud Butler. ![]() There are three packages available, each with different features:Įssential includes all that we’ve mentioned above and costs $79.99 (around £60) for a 1-year license on a single Mac. It works with over 1,000 file types and systems, including NTFS, FAT, HFS+, APFS, which should pretty much cover everything from almost any kind of drive or storage media. Scan your system with the software to see what’s available to recover in the form of small thumbnails – if you see a preview of a file you can be certain you will be able able to recover it. Like pretty much all the others in this roundup, there is a free trial version that allows you to test what files it will be able to recover, then you can step up to the paid versions to recover the data as the free trial is limited to 100MB. Recoverit by Wondershare is another stalwart in data recovery. That could be a lifesaver if those files are the ones most precious to you. One interesting feature that’s available in Recovery Premium tier ($179.99/£179.99, currently $85/£85) is the ability to repair videos and pictures that have been corrupted. You can also create bootable USB drives to help recover data from a Mac that has had a serious crash. The app supports APFS, HFS+, FAT32, NTFS and ExFAT formats, and has been updated to work with macOS Monterey and M1 and T2 chip enabled Macs.Īs you’d expect with this sort of tool, Stellar Data Recovery for Mac can find and restore files that you’ve deleted from the trash bin, data lost through accidental reformatting of disks, and works happily with internal storage or external drives such as USB sticks, SSDs, flash media, SD cards and the like. These are 1-year subscriptions, limited to use on a single Mac, but there is a 30-day money back guarantee, so if it doesn’t do the job you should be able to recover your money (although maybe not your data). The bad news is that Windows users have a Standard version to choose which costs less, but this isn’t an option on the Mac. So, if your needs are greater then that you need to look at Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac ($99.99/£99.99, currently $89.99/£90) which brings the ability to recover files from lost volumes, Time Machine back ups, Encrypted disk drives, and create recovery drives. There are limitations though, mainly that the app will only allow you to recover up to 1GB of files. Stellar Data Recovery for Mac from Stellar Info Software is another popular option, with a free trial on offer so you can test out its capabilities before committing to a purchase. If you don’t have a spare drive or Mac laying around, then EaseUS Data Recovery for Mac will allow you send the recovered files directly to a cloud storage service such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. The app works with APFS, HFS+, HFS X, FAT (FAT16, FAT32), exFAT, and NTFS, and it isn’t limited to recovering data from internal drives, as you can also use it to recover data from an external hard drive, SSD, USB storage, memory card, plus it supports Time Machine and Finder backups of iOS devices.Ī clear, simple interface is also a welcome feature, with the three step process of scanning, selecting files, then recovering them, all handled without the need for any technical knowledge. It also now supports Macs with the T2 security chips, which is a big bonus if you have a newer device, plus EaseUS states the app is also compatible with M1 silicon too. The ability to create a bootable USB drive also means there’s a good chance you can find data even when macOS is unable to boot up on your Mac’s internal drive. If you want longer, then you can buy a 1-year licence for $119.95/£131.99, all of which come with a 30-day money back guarantee.ĮaseUS covers a lot of files types and disk formats, and also allows you a good chance of recovering files from a disk if you’ve accidentally reformatted it or deleted a partition before removing your files. This might sound expensive, but data recovery software isn’t the kind of thing you use regularly, so it should be enough time to get your Mac back on its feet, or at least rescue the data. The unlimited app costs $89.95/£95.99 for one month (you can cancel at any time). That might not sound like a lot, but it’s more than what’s offered by most trials, and potentially enough to find what you are looking for or at least know it can see your lost data before you pay for a full licence. If you are looking to recover a deleted file, EaseUS Data Recovery for Mac is a good option since it has a free version that is limited to 2GB. Additional restrictions include setting profiles for corporate network and email access, company branding, and key escrow services that store a recovery key that may be used to bypass Activation Lock on iCloud-linked devices, for example. ![]() Among the more popular settings that admins can control include requiring passcodes for unlocking devices, setting minimum passcode lengths and complexity requirements, as well as timeouts and incorrect passcode lockouts, all of which protect data stored on devices from unauthorized access and data exfiltration in the event of loss or theft. This list of functions that are manageable are long–and continue to grow with the introduction of each new version of iOS. What features can be secured when a device is supervised? While additional support for greater features continues to be included, the crux of supervise remains the same: To allow systems administrator’s greater control over iOS devices by securing and allowing the configuration of features and functions, allowing these devices (typically enterprise-owned) to be locked down to prevent unauthorized changes that could otherwise lead to device compromise, and by extension, compromise the data and/or business network. Supervision was introduced in iOS 5 and has experienced many framework updates over the years as newer versions of iOS are introduced.
